Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: How do I minimize any motion of the wood placed in the StavePress?
A: The Stavepress body will handle any length of wood. Adjust the wood in the StavePress to a position where your tools are working close to the frame of the StavePress… not “way out on the limb.”
Q: Can I order another base separately so I can have one permanently mounted, and have another for mobile mounting of my StavePress?
A: Absolutely. Just click here.
Q: Where can I see a demonstration of the StavePress?
A: We thought a video was the best way to show just how useful the StavePress really is. We decided to build one right into the site. Click here to watch the StavePress Demonstration Video.
Q: The threads of my StavePress’ main vertical screw have more friction than I want - what is that about?
A: The threads are painted at the factory in an effort to make the StavePress look great. Some threads got more paint than others, but after a few minutes of turning the screw up and down with some oil as a lubricant, the screw motion smoothes out just fine.
